Wacky Packages Photomosaic Posters

An obsession with Wacky Packages drove me to create these photomosaic posters. As kids, we used to create sticker collages everywhere much to the chagrin of our parents and teachers. I've combined the concept of the photomosaic with a collage to create posters of the original Wacky Packages stickers. I've built some new photomosaic software that matches randomly oriented mini-images of the original 512 stickers (kindly provided by John Mann) with the best-matching locations on an enlarged single image of a sticker to create a digital collage of the original sticker. Tens of thousands of mini-images go into creating these photomosaic collages and they reproduce the original images with remarkable fidelity.
